• Location: Konggang Avenue, Luojia Town, Jianyang City; approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) southeast of downtown Chengdu
• Terminals: This modern airport features two terminals, fully equipped with amenities such as Wi-Fi, nursing rooms, luggage storage, shopping and dining venues, a lost and found, and all other necessary services and facilities. T1 serves international flights, while T2 serves domestic flights.

Traveler Guide

1. Check-in Deadlines:

• For domestic flights, check-in closes 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.
• For GTC (Ground Transportation Center) check-in, the deadline is 60 minutes before departure.
• For international flights, the check-in deadline is determined by the airline.

1. Visa Policy for International Transit Passengers:

• Passengers with a layover of less than 24 hours, calculated from the scheduled arrival to the scheduled departure time, can enjoy the 24-hour visa-free transit policy.
• If the layover exceeds 24 hours, a visa is required unless the passenger holds a passport from one of the 53 eligible countries and qualifies for the 144-hour visa-free transit policy.

1. Transfer Between T1 and T2:

• Transfers between T1 and T2 are available via the free APM (Automated People Mover).
• The APM operates within the check-in area from 05:00 to 00:45 the following day, and outside the check-in area from 05:00 until the last domestic flight arrives.
• Stations are located on the B2 level of both T1 and T2.

Transportation from Tianfu Airport to Chengdu City Center

1. Metro

• Metro Line 18 connects the airport with Chengdu South Railway Station.
• Boarding Location: Ground Transportation Center (GTC) between T1 and T2.
• Operating Hours: 06:03 – 23:34
• Fare: The minimum fare is 2 yuan, with the fare increasing for longer distances. The one-way fare to South Station is 10 yuan.

1. Airport Shuttle Bus

• Boarding Locations: Outside Door 01 of T1 and Door 03 of T2.
• Frequency: 20-30 minutes, operating 00:00 – 24:00.
