These three major airport service points serve over 50,000 foreign clients annually. Additionally, Beijing Mobile has established foreign traveler service areas in popular city districts, such as the Wangjing and Dongzhongjie service centers, to ensure professional coverage. Over 200 service centers are equipped with translation software. The foreign traveler service areas also offer bilingual signs, translation devices, English-speaking staff, short-term card packages, and English agreement guides, ensuring high-quality communication services for foreign customers.
Exclusive Tariffs, Flexible Choices
To meet the temporary communication needs of foreign visitors, Beijing Mobile’s “Smart Card” offers three options: 7 days, 15 days, and 30 days. Users can receive up to 80GB of data, 300 minutes of call time, and a 100 RMB discount on international/Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan calls. These options are designed to meet the everyday needs of foreign visitors during their stay in Beijing, allowing them to fully enjoy their “China Tour.”
Exclusive Reservations, Convenient Payment
To simplify the network enrollment process for overseas travelers, Beijing Mobile has introduced the “online passport reservation and offline card issuance” feature. Foreign travelers can scan a QR code on their phone to enter the reservation page, choose a number and plan, enter their real-name information, and upload a passport photo to complete the network reservation. When visiting the service center to activate the card, they can use stored customer images to complete real-name verification. This feature reduces manual input errors and shortens processing time. It is currently fully piloted at Beijing Capital and Daxing Airport service centers, with over 600 enrollments completed so far. Additionally, considering the payment habits of foreign travelers, Beijing Mobile has achieved 100% coverage of foreign card payments in key areas such as airports. It supports various foreign cards like VISA and Mastercard, as well as cash, UnionPay cards, Alipay, WeChat, and digital RMB.
